Vatthana Siamkha was born in Luang Prabang, Lao P. D. R.
He graduated from Finance College and English Teacher Training College in Luang Prabang.

In 2010, he then graduated from the International Hotel and Tourism Industry Management School in Bangkok, Thailand.

Vatthana's work is highly regarded in Laos especially in Luang Prabang and beyond. His work captures magical moments of Luang Prabang life shot in and around this famously photogenic town. His photographs present his promising potential with hopes to be a famous professional photographer in the future.
