The Young Lao Photographer's Gallery is a project of @ My Library, a library and resource center that supports Lao youth in their quest for a brighter future. We teach photography, provide cameras for students to borrow, continue to encourage and support developing talent and with the kind support of others, provide personal camera equipment for the most advanced photographers. Photographers from My Library have exhibited in Laos, the US, Holland, France, Cambodia and India.
Although Laos has been photographed by many world class photographers, our angle is unique... this is our life, our families and friends, our inspirations and aspirations... this is "Laos Through Our Own Eyes."
Please visit our galleries and enjoy the photographs. Please donate the digital cameras you do not use to our Young Lao Photographers through @ My Library
If you are in Luang Prabang, visit us @ My Library down the small lane opposite Wat Visoun/Aham. We are on the left just before Utopia.
